Joint venture is basically two (or sometimes more than two) people joining in partnership to increase sales and profits in their respective businesses. This type of partnership offers the people involved quite a few benefits, which makes it a very appealing choice to many business people.

Joint venture it a system of marketing that involves forming a partnership for the purpose of each partner making more money. Also known as a strategic alliance, this type of endeavor boosts the assets and resources of each company involved, and both parties realize benefits. The partnership makes it possible for all parties to add the other’s customers to their own list. This is not link trading or banner trading. Those promotion methods do not utilize the invaluable benefits of good customer relationships and business integrity that are the main elements of successful joint venture partnerships.

The idea of a joint venture is wonderful for those who are attempting to target a certain niche market and there are additional businesses currently doing business with this market successfully. Entering into a joint venture with one of these businesses would make that market available to you quicker and with better results than if you tried to enter the niche without help. It also offers you a chance to become known in this area without having to spend a great deal of money.

There are additional good points of joint ventures. You may find yourself gaining immediate credibility through association as a result of your partner’s good reputation. More people will be seeing your advertising, so your sales will increase. You will also be able to offer your customers more merchandise by including that of your partner. You profit from this partnership while increasing your customer’s satisfaction by offering something they previously did not have available.

As you can tell there are numerous ways that joint ventures are a situation where everybody wins. You get basically free advertising, get access to an established customer list, and increase your credibility by associating with your partner. You also gain more merchandise to offer to your list and leverage that will see both you and your partner benefit. There truly are only positive things that can result from entering into a joint venture, as long as you choose the correct partner.

If you are able to become successful without starting out by selecting your
market, then it is almost pure luck that you didn’t fall flat on your face. That is
really how important it is to make this your absolute first step in creating your info
product.

Equally important is the idea of selecting the “right” market. Ordinarily, I am of
the opinion that there is no “right” way or “wrong” way, only “different” ways. The
same is true with opinions. Well, with selecting a market, there actually is a right
market and a wrong market. Select a wrong market, and you’re actually worse off
that if you would have created an info product without first locating a market. The
right market is one that has buyers … and lots of them!

The market you select to create your info product for must be hungry for
information AND they must be willing to pay almost any price to get that
information. By definition, a “market” is a group of people who come together for
a common purpose. People by nature tend to belong to groups as they feel most
comfortable associating with like minded people.

In order to achieve success with an info product online, you’ll need to find the
right group of like-minded people for your info product. In other words, those
people who are buyers (not window shoppers) of information on a given topic.
Then, and only then, can you create a product tailored to their specific needs.
This will assure you of having people lining up to buy the information that you
provide to them.

Marketers, especially Internet Marketers trying to sell you products, talk about
‘hot’ markets. Jimmy D. Brown calls it ‘burning needs’ (a mis-quote, I’m sure).
Whatever you want to name it, it makes sense to target products and markets
that have a heavy demand – lots of buyers. But that’s not all, is it?

Keep an eye out for the other side of the marketing equation – the supply side.
Wading into a highly competitive marketplace is risky if you’re starting your first
business. Find a market which still has room for more competition (the demand /
supply ratio is high) and where the market is large enough to be profitable
(targeting Ugandan farmers isn’t exactly a killer idea – targeting African farmers is
a better idea scale-wise, but then you run into purchasing power.)

In other words, pick a market where:

· The buyers are willing AND able
· The suppliers are not too great in number (Internet Marketing is inherently a
tough niche to enter precisely because every one tries to sell marketing
products)
· The market is big enough to make a profit and expand in the future.

This is exactly what you learned to do earlier in this course. The same concept
applies whether you are creating an info product from scratch or using other
people’s products to create your own … you must still do your research before
creating the product.

Using articles in your marketing has several advantages. The greatest advantage is that article marketing is highly effective, and it is free. If you decide to pay someone else to write your articles for you, of course,it won’t be free but will be very low cost.

Writing and submitting articles offers you the chance to build a large number of back links to your site without having to provide outbound links in exchange for these, all in a relatively short amount of time. This helps boost your search engine rankings by increasing your search engine optimization.

If you like to write and can do it fairly well, you can easily express yourself by produceing quality articles in a very short time, all at no cost. These 300 to 500 word articles will help to establish you as an expert within your niche. When you establish yourself as an expert, you are also building trust with those that read your articles, and this in turn, of course, creates more sales.

Articles have a domino effect. Viral marketing means that you do something once and it spreads, providing you with the benefits far into the future. That’s how article marketing works. You write and distribute the article one time, and it serves you with back links, increased traffic, credibility, and trust for years to come.

If you write articles on a weekly basis, you will find that it serves to increase your back links, your traffic, your credibility, your trust, and ultimately your sales for an even longer period.

You can’t go wrong if you are producing quality, informative articles within your niche. While your articles should not be sales letters disguised as articles, you can use articles to pitch products, as long as the information is informative and useful to the reader, even if they do not purchase the product. Often a customer will return at a later time to buy.

If you ask ten people to define a blog, you are likely to get ten different answers. It is generally agreed that a blog is an online journal. You write in it and you let people read it. Blogs are all over the Internet and they are popular. However, what people do with blogs differ. Some people choose to use it as a secret, personal diary, others may use a blog to stay in touch with family and even others use their blog as an advertising tool.

There is no one hard and fast rule when you start to talk about a blog. Blogs can be many different things to many different people. Here are some common ways people use blogs.

Personal blog: Most people use a blog as a personal journal or diary. Some people want to keep their thoughts secret and do not wish for others to read it. Others will give their friends and family a password so only the people they want can read it. Some people will share with the world. If you have a personal blog, you can choose to add to it whenever you feel like it. When you first start blogging, you may have a hard time adding to it everyday, but once you get the hang of it, it may become addictive. You will find that as your readership builds, you want to add more to your blog. Personal blogs are a great way to keep in touch with others.

Media blog: There are also media blogs. These contain what are called vlogs or a blog with videos. A linklog is another media blog that has links to other sites and a photoblog is one that is full of pictures. Vlogs are becoming more popular as people learn to add video clips to the Internet. These entries are usually in reversed chronological order.

Device blog: Writing a blog does not have to be just done on the computer. In fact, you can use different types of devices to add what you want to say to the world. If you have a mobile device, such as a Blackberry or cell phone, you can easily add to your blog. You can use a PDA to create a moblog. This makes keeping up with your blog easy no matter where you may be at the moment. You can even download vblogs to your iPod and watch them you have the time.

Genre blogs: If you go to a blog hosting site, you will see an index of different genres of blogs. Not everyone writes about their day or their kids! You will quickly find that you can find blogs about travel, pets (and certain pet breeds), politics, cooking, history, hobbies and more. When you know what interests you, then you can look up genre blogs and find exactly what you want to read about. You may even decide you want to blog something, too.

Business: There are many businesses and companies that use blogs to advertise their business or product. Keywords and also help point readers and customers to the business website and blogs. It is easy and very effective to use blogs for advertising a product or service. Some businesses will hire a writer that can help them use their blogs for their business effectively. Others will use people that are experts in a particular field to write their blogs. When a customer needs to know something about a product, a business blog can help.

Blogs are more popular than ever—there are just different ways of using them. Whether you are interested in keeping a blog to stay in touch with family and friends or you want to advertise your business, blogs are here to stay.

Many Internet Marketers have made small fortunes out of selling “niche content”.
A “niche” is a focused market segment. For example, there is the self help niche.
Almost any topic can be a “niche” as long as there is a targeted market of people
in that niche.

Those Internet Marketers that have made a ton of money selling niche content.
are selling to the “online business niche”. In other words, they’re selling to other
internet marketers. (Although I wouldn’t necessarily call that market segment a
“niche” as it is really not focused very well.)

Those selling niche content to the internet marketers are making life easy for the
new online business owner as the new business owner doesn’t even have to
create an info product. The only problem with that is that at any point in time, at
least a hundred other people buy the same products, follow the same steps, and
eventually, setup the same type of websites.

The end result? Nothing happens. Apart from a few early success stories, sales
happen at a trickle, and people are left wondering why they bought something
that an Internet Marketer thought was better to sell rather than profit from it on his
own.

Don’t get me wrong. I quite enjoy the ease that pre-packaged niche content gives
to starting an online business. The only problem is that if you don’t KNOW how to
pick the right niche, you won’t ever be able to strike a fortune.

Quick Fact: Every single Internet Marketer has at least one niche business that
is doing amazingly well.

How do they do this? They pick the right niche! Examples of some niches that
could be profitable are the poker niche, the wedding invitation niche, the debt
reduction niche, etc.

There are, as always, several solutions. One of the most profitable, though, is to
create your own info products, and combine them with other people’s products for

More Profit-Making Ideas for Your Articles

Always keep in mind that your main goal is to make money. Many internet marketers are effectively using their articles to do just that and this should be your goal as well.

Articles get customers to your website where they can view your products and services. They can be used to gain a customer’s trust in you as an expert in your field. These people become buying customers. Selling the private label rights to your articles or turning them into a digital product will end up making you money

What can you do in addition to these things? Is there something other than the resource box of the article that can help make it more profitable. You advertise You invite people to your website but there is still something else that you can do to increase the value of your article.

Your main goal is to get the customer to buy, whether it is your own product or a product that you are an affiliate on. Either way, you realize a profit and that is what you want to do.

Look at the people who are competing with you. Sign up for any affiliate program they have and advertise their product. You end up using your competitors to make money for you. Find products that relate to your chosen field and may tie in with your product. Once you become part of their affiliate program, advertise for them within your articles.

Most people won’t click on a link that is obviously from an affiliate program. There are programs you can obtain that will change the link by shortening it. This cloaks the link. You can also direct potential customers to your own website and have them then go to your affiliate’s site. Either way, the goal is to get them there.

You don’t want to turn your article into an advertisement. You want to provide information that the reader can use. Show how the product ties in with this information. You might find this is an easy way to increase your income.
