Anyone reading this article will have asked themselves the question - where do I get started to make my fortune from the comfort of my own home, using the Internet?

What a good question it is too. If you are given a one sentence answer, ignore it. How to get started requires more than a single sentence.

What you are trying to achieve is simple, get yourself a product or service, find someone who wants to pay money for it, and Bingo! Sell it to them.

What no one has covered in any depth is what product or service? and just where do I find the customers who want to buy products?

Locating a product is now a relatively simple task, you can even use software programs that will whip up a membership site, or an information EBook in hardly any time at all. Most of the decent ones will cost money, but it can be considered an investment for future profits which will be made.

The simplest method is to use one of the many EBook writers, or PDF converters, to change Private Label content into your own. Click of the button and you have your very own EBook.

Web hosting is now a necessity so someone can access the book. Believe it or not, there are free hosting sites that can take a file in zip or PDF format. If you are on a budget (like most beginners are) this may well be a suitable option. As you progress you are well advised to get a paid hosting service.

Now the fun begins, finding someone who wants your EBook. Here is where you need a good auto responder to keep track of all who want to download the EBook that has been created.

Firstly, set up a simple squeeze page to get names and email addresses. Include the auto responder form code, and anyone who wants access will be added to your list.

Why is this so crucial?

Selling any product or service is an easier proposition when it is to customers who know that they will receive emails from you.

Remember to include some emails, on a similar subject to the EBook, in the auto responder. Promotional or sales messages can then be sent at any time of the day or night.

The more trust and familiarity that is built up, the more chance there is that emails will be read, and action taken.

Lets not try and make it too complicated - getting subscribers by giving away free stuff still works, and as time goes by the sales pitch can be made.

The first and most important step is to build a list of your very own.
