Article Directories How They Help Your Business

Article directories are websites that house free articles. These articles are usually put there by whoever owns the copyright to them as a promotion method. Each article has the owners byline placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for further information.

Articles directories are a great place to put your articles so that they will make you money. By using this method, people who are interested in your product or service will see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and will visit your website. Even if you cannot write or do not have any knowledge on the subject on which you are promoting (for example for you run an affiliate website), you can always hire a writer to do the work for you. Getting quality articles written will be expensive up front, but they will pay for themselves in no time, either through affiliate sales or selling your own services, and everything from then on is pure profit.

Let’s take a real life example. Imagine that you are an accountant working from home. You write an article on an accounting topic and place it on various article directories. Those who are looking for the subject you wrote about will read your article, see that you have the knowledge and skill that is needed to do a job for them, and visit your website or contact you via e-mail. Your article just gained you a new client who may use your services regularly, but will definitely give you a nice profit at least once.

Furthermore, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites about accounting will inevitably use your article for their website. Since they must attach your byline to it, this will bring you even more exposure for every website that re-posts your article. This because you will be benefiting of off the traffic that they get to their website.

There are numerous article directories out there for you to utilize. Your bet best is to put a copy of each of your articles on every one for maximum exposure. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new orders and more profit.

If you have been thinking of starting a business or
already have one running, you need to be aware that
a business plan is totally essential to your success.

A good marketing plan is crucial to any business, but
especially to a business just starting out. Equally
important is a new business owner who wants to begin
their business with an ethical, positive attitude, an
attainable goal, and the means to reach it.

So how do you do it? This excellent marketing system
gives five basic principles to cause your business to
strive for those goals and then maintain or even
exceed those goals.

• Have a good quality product or service. This may
seem obvious to many but it can never become too
important. If the quality is above average and doesn’t
wane, customers will come to know that and reward that
business with their faithful repeat visits.

• Put your customers first. If the customer is made to
feel special, and they can see that the business is
serious in serving them, they will continue to return
and bring friends with them.

• Determine, find, and then speak to your targeted
market. Blanket advertising is minimal in reaching
your targeted customer base and one of the most
expensive advertising techniques. Stay within your
niche for the most effective marketing results.

• Use business cards, flyers, newsletters, and
promotional literature with your face-to-face
customers always. Customers won’t remember to tell
others about your product if they can’t remember what
was special about it or where they got it.

• Listen and respond to your customers promptly.
Remedy any complaint immediately to satisfy the
customer. If there are numerous complaints regarding
the same product or service, the business may need to
reevaluate their product or method. Negative word of
mouth advertising can be extremely expensive.

A business plan will give you a plan of action to
closely follow in attaining your business and financial
goals.

Beginning a new business isn’t easy. It can be
expensive, time consuming, and very stressful. Those

Using Articles For Viral Marketing

Viral marketing methods are used today for one good reason – they work. There are many different techniques that you can use, but it tends to be better to focus on one strategy at a time and work at it until you get the results you want. If you are already into ‘bum’ or article marketing a great strategy is to turn your articles into a viral marketing report or eBook.

As you have already written the articles it requires very little work on your part to develop something that will bring in traffic (and sales) for years to come. Compiling the articles into a single document is relatively easy although you may need to do some work in re-branding and making it aesthetically pleasing. In addition, there may be some effort required in adding viral elements. Many authors are not so subtle and put in blatant advertisements. You may get more success by adding some value to the reader and disguising the marketing component. A popular technique is to add a review of several products in the particular niche. You will need to include your own affiliate links, but to make them less obvious you should consider cloaking them.

Distribution can be done in many ways. If the resulting publication is of high quality you could consider selling it. In order to make it viral you would need to include reprint rights. Not only do you get sales from the book (which is practically written already), but you get others spreading it around on your behalf.

If you really want the material to spread you should consider giving it away and encourage others to do the same (with the proviso that the material is not changed in any way). You can advertise your giveaway in forums and in list emails. One area that can be very useful but is often neglected is on the download page of any related products you sell. People love to be provided with unadvertised bonuses. Because it is on the download page, it is seen as a part of the actual order and most people will download it.

A viral marketing campaign costs a lot less to implement than traditional advertising. It needs to be remembered that viral marketing is just one component of your marketing repertoire. It should be linked with other strategies such as setting up squeeze pages to collect opt-ins. When combined with other essential business building strategies it can help to generate traffic to your web site, build a huge and solid customer base, add to your sales and contribute towards your success.

The Affiliate Marketing Solution

Many companies are now turning to affiliate marketing as the solution to getting relatively low cost, highly focused traffic to their websites or to a “warm-up” site that increases the chances of a customer actually buying something from the main site. The affiliate marketing solution is a solid and very effective web marketing tool which helps to reduce a company’s overall marketing costs because they only pay for quality performance and they have no costs involved in employing permanent workers, e.g. tax, insurance, holiday, sickness, etc; also it is the most efficient use of outsourcing where the company pays for a service on a microscopic scale which eliminates outsourcing companies adding a mark-up to cover risks taken or money invested.

Affiliates

Affiliates are the first to take advantage of new emerging trends and technologies, where established advertisers do not dare to be active, and they are prepared to risks; “trial and error” is probably the best way to describe how affiliate marketers are operating. Affiliates can be search engine marketers who run pay-per-click campaigns in order to drive traffic and sales for an advertiser and they are compensated according to the value of the conversion through a variety of pricing models including cost per click, a flat fee per conversion, a percentage of sales transaction or some combination of all three of these. Affiliates generally attract traffic either via paid search or Search Engine optimization.

What about the money, you say? Well, often people are tempted by lucrative offers of earning money online without having to do anything, which is obviously appealing to everyone, but it is essential to know exactly what you are getting into, before you start investing your hard-earned money on an online business which may not be a very good choice.

In order to become good at affiliate marketing, you need to be prepared to invest your time and money wisely. Firstly, do as much research as possible about the company whose product(s) you will be promoting and the type of customers that might be interested in those products; try and find the type of places that users of these products are likely to be found, e.g. blogs, forums and social networking sites such as MySpace.com, and see what these people are interested in, have a need for, etc.

Once you have identified a good product with a good market, then it is usually a good idea to start an AdWords campaign where you pay as little as possible for keywords that are related to the product that you are trying to promote. Time can help you as an affiliate marketer to hone your trade, as you can study what links your readers are most interested in by tracking their clicks, where your traffic comes from by seeing what keywords they used to find you, and what affiliate links convert to the most sales.

If you have a small advertising budget, but you want a proven way to spread the word about your affiliate products or services, article marketing is the perfect solution. By offering informative, easy-to-read content that appeals to the search engines, you can drive significant traffic to your web pages for affiliate profits.

The key to effective article marketing is to offer useful and interesting content that is optimized for the search engines.

To start the article, choose a topic that pertains to your affiliate offerings and find the best keywords related to the topic. You can use a free resource such as Keyword Playground to research the popularity of certain words and use Google to research the competitiveness of the keywords.

Informative, well-written content with a keyword density of three to five percent is a good step to getting your article ranked in the search engines. Do not, however, overuse keywords or else your articles will be ranked lower due to the spam flag.

Make sure to research the topic you are writing about through Google searches, encyclopedias and/or library research so you offer meaningful content.

Choose an attention-grabbing title to raise interest, such as posing a question or a challenge to your readers. As you write the article, check your spelling and grammar so your writing has a professional appearance.

If you find the process difficult, you may choose to invest in a program such as Fat Content that guides you through SEO writing step-by-step and includes an optimized search engine browser for outstanding research.

Unique articles providing outstanding information will bring the most traffic to your affiliate pages. Once you prepare an original, well-written article, proofread your work or ask someone else to read your article so you know it makes sense.

Once the article is perfect, it’s time to submit it to article directories such as Ezine Articles, Article City and Go Articles. You can also feature your article on blogs, forums and newsletters. Make sure, however, that your bio box includes the link to your affiliate website before you submit to the directories.

Although it can be time-consuming, writing great articles is an affordable way to boost your affiliate profits even if you have a small advertising budget. And if you’re able to to write an over-the-top article that goes viral, you’ll be amazed at the traffic it will bring you.

Backlinks, Page Rank and doing the Google Dance

Search Engine Optimization and SEO No Comments »

Google’s infamous page rank or “PR” is one important factor that online marketers must consider when designing web pages and marketing campaigns. The way that page rank is determined is a hot topic amount experts in Search Engine Optimization.

It’s well known that Google uses a complex algorithm to analyze web pages in order to figure how how well they should be ranked. The exact things that Google uses to determine page rank is a closely guarded secret. It is however well known that one key thing they consider is the number of other pages which link to a specific page, or create so called “back links”.

There’s a ton of info on the net about back links. How people get links is, as most everything else about page rank, controversial. One method of getting back links was to simply buy them from others or through a link broker, which is a practice that is now discouraged by Google.

Google’s argument is that page rank should be determined by a page’s natural popularity, not by artificial means. In other words, Google wants the page rank to reflect real interest in a page, in other words its relevance to specific search terms.

Some argue that this method of determining page rank is all fine and good and noble, while others think it’s a heavy handed, overbearing and perhaps infused with some sinister motive on the part of Google.

While the argument goes back and forth about why Google changed the rules, it is still a fact of life that back links are an important part of how a page is ranked. Page rank is clearly an important issue if you are marketing online.

Simply put, if your page drops below the first page of results from an search query, it will effect traffic to your site. Since traffic equates to potential customers, getting a high page rank is important, especially if you are selling online.

It is generally accepted that there is a difference in the quality of different links. It is not only the number of back links a site has, but also the quality of those links. Once again this is an area of considerable debate and controversy.

So called “reciprocal”links have a bad rap in so far as page rank is concerned. A reciprocal link is one in which sites trade links, often specifically as a means of improving page rank. Apparently Google discounts so called reciprocal links . This means that a page using reciprocal links would not benefit page rank.

The current Search Engine Optimization wisdom is that Google favors so called one way links. As the name suggests these are links which point from one site to another site without any kind of reciprocal link.

The principal argument for this favoritism of one way links is simple. The reasoning here is simple; it is thought that a site with lots of links pointing to it is offering information which others consider to be of high value.

In other words it’s page rank will reflect that others consider it to be a good site by virtue of the number of links they have created to that site. Irrespective of your point of view on if this reasoning is valid, it agreed by leading SEO experts that that back links, and the quality of those links is considered when page rank is calculated.

The real issue for most internet marketers is about how one goes about getting valid and valuable links to your site. In this regard there are two basic approaches – Do it Yourself (DIY) or Outsourcing (OS).

The DIY method can be a time consuming and arduous task but, it has considerable merit for a number of reasons. First among these is simply that it is one means of carefully building the kinds of relationships with other sites that make help increase page rank naturally – which is what Google is looking for.

Outsourcing link building can be done through various agencies who specialize in this technique. There are a number of companies online that claim to provide a matching service which allows one to get back links from other sites. The idea is that they match your with other sites already in their database which have “related content”.

Outsourcing does have some risks since you have may have no control over how links to your site are actually created. Before signing on to any so called link building program you need to be aware of their policies and practices. Caution is certainly a good word to use when it comes to outsourcing your link building to others.

So called social networking is quickly become a popular method of getting one way inbound links to a website. At this point in time this technique might be termed experimental. However some of those using the method are reporting considerable success in quickly improving page rank.

According to Google there are in fact hundreds of factors which go into determining page rank and back links are only one of these. Clearly Google will not share all these factors since others would use that information to compromise the integrity of Google search results.

What is well known and obviously important is that the number and quality of back links are a central part of how a page is ranked by Google. Attention to this detail is as important to online marketers as any other aspect of their venture. It is something which should be well understood and carefully considered in any marketing strategy.

It is important to note that one should be careful to focus on creating websites and web pages which are properly optimized for search engines. Back links, while being important are only one aspect getting a page well ranked.

When building web pages or writing blogs as well as creating articles for use in a marketing program, optimization for search engines needs to be forefront in your thoughts and very much in your awareness. We all have to do the “Google Dance” and it is important to first lean all the steps, success simply depends on it.

In this world you only have two types of assets : Money and Time. The easiest way to drive traffic to your site is to buy it. But if you are an Internet marketing beginner you probably don’t have much money to invest in traffic building. In that case, you will need to invest you time.

The following traffic techniques are time consuming, but they are 100% free and will get you a fair amount of targeted traffic. If your site is properly optimized for monetization, you will soon be earning enough money to invest in buying traffic, and save your precious time to build new money making websites.

So here are 11 surefire free traffic techniques :

This tip is so obvious it will not even be counted, but it is often overlooked : submit your site to the major search engines (google, yahoo, msn) and to as many other search engines as you can.

1. Use this proven Bummarketing technique, write 5 to 10 articles and submit them to the free article directories. Off course you must include a link to your site in the article itself or in your bio box. The articles should be optimised for a keyword your site is targeting.

2. Find blogs related to your topic and leave useful comments with a backlink to your site. In the same way you could go to answers.yahoo.com, and answer questions related to your site’s topic. Off course put a link to your site in each of your answers. Another thing you should consider, is joining the most popular forums that deal with you site’s topic and becoming an active poster. Include a link to your site in your signature.

3. This one can be very powerful. Write a press release about your site and submit it to press release sites such as prweb.com. If you are not familiar with press releases, take some time to do a little research : a press release is not written like an article.

4. If you are happy with a product or service you have used, write an unbiased testimonial and trade it for a backlink to your site.

5. Start a blog on blogger.com and a blog on wordpress.com, link them to your site and submit them to the hundreds of free blog directories. This will get you plenty of quality traffic as long as you keep your blogs updated.

6. Try posting ads with a link to you site on all the free classified ad site you can find (such as craigslist.com). The best ones will allow you to post a live link. But don’t neglect the other ones. If your ad is well written, people will go out of their way and type your url in their browser. Off course you must post in the appropriate category.

7. An easy way to get a extra more free traffic is to add a link to your site in your email signature.

8. Start a page on myspace.com and on any other high page rank social bookmarking site you can find. In the same way, go to Squidoo.com, open a few accounts, create a few lenses and link them to your site.

9. Submit a viral video to youtube.com. You don’t really need any video producing knowledge as a simple powerpoint slideshow with some background music will to the job perfectly.

10. Search your main keywords on Google and see if you can exchange reciprocal links with related websites that come up in the top results.

11. You could write an ebook or a short report (say 10 to 20 pages), or find a product with giveaway rights that you can brand with a link to your site. Then submit it to all the free ebook directories you can find online.

This last tip is not free, but is worth the extra buck. Check out the misspellings or variations of your domain name, or those of your competitors. If you find a good available domain, grab it and redirect the traffic to your site.

Now all this looks like a full time job ! These techniques work, but you don’t have to use them all at once. Just pick the one you feel the best with and act now. Invest 30mn to an hour daily in building your free traffic. Then step to your next favourite technique and within a few weeks you should be earning enough money to afford to buy traffic and concentrate your time and efforts on building your online business.

Succeeding with Pay per Click Advertising

If you are a newbie starting out your site or an affiliate trying to get customers for the product, you must be aware that it is an extremely difficult exercise to get traffic to your sites with organic searches from the search engines. With many search engines and their different ranking algorithms, it is also a time consuming activity to optimize the site to get into search engine rankings. Even a small change in the website can lead to huge drop in your rankings and your income. Pay per Click advertising gives a ray of hope in getting the much awaited traffic in a very short duration.

In Pay per Click advertising, you bid on your choice of keywords to get the visitors. Since you pay for each visitor click, Pay per Click advertising can also lead to huge costs. But if managed correctly, PPC advertising can work wonders for your site and sales. Before you dive into PPC advertising, there are certain important factors that you should consider. Below listed are some of the factors:

Keyword: Keyword is probably the most important factor when it comes to getting a visitor. You should start with researching for the relevant base keywords for your ads. Base keywords are the generic keywords associated with your site or product. If you are promoting weight loss products then “weight loss”, “losing weight”, “lose weight” can be some of base keywords.

You should then use these base keywords to create a list of keywords that you would target in your ad. Lot of free as well as paid tools are available for keyword research. You can start off with the free tools like www.goodkeywords.com, freekeywords.wordtracker.com, www.thedowser.com, or Google keyword tool. These tools will help you identify the similar and relevant keywords used in organic searches. These tools will also help you understand the competition for each keyword.

You should continue your research till you manage to find keywords with relatively smaller competition. Generic keywords should be avoided since such keywords will have a huge competition and very high bids. Long tail keywords will have lesser competition and will produce good results.

If your site or product is about weight loss exercises, people searching for “How to lose weight with exercise” will find your site useful rather than someone searching for a weight loss pill. Once you get a list of relevant keywords, you should optimize the list by using various modifiers and negative keywords.

Ad Text: After you have a list of keywords that you plan to use for the PPC campaign, you need to create an advertisement. You usually get about two lines of 50 characters and one line for AD title to create your advertisement. You have to be creative enough and make the most out of this space. Usually if the advertisement text contains the targeted keyword, it gets a high click though rate. Ad titles starting with “How To”, “Secrets to” will also attract more clicks. Depending on whether you are targeting a site visitor or trying to sell a product, keywords like “Discounted”, “Benefits” will also find many clicks.

Landing Pages: The next important factor is the landing page where the visitor lands upon clicking your ad in the search engine. You may have used perfect keywords and created a perfect advertisement but if you do not work on the landing page, all the money spent on acquiring the visitor will be lost.

The landing page should always be relevant to the keyword used in the ad text. If you had clicked on the advertisement with text “weight loss exercises” and ended on a page selling “weight loss pill”, would you stay on that page? Usually it is always good to create separate landing pages relevant to the keywords used in the ad text. If you promote weight loss pills but your ad text talked about weight loss exercises, you should build a landing page based on weight loss exercises. You can then have a link to the page that sells weight loss pills. This way the visitor will find relevant content and a reason to stay on your site, plus you will get an opportunity to make your visitor look at the page selling “weight loss pills”. Landing pages are also important for split testing of your PPC ads.

Analysis: after you have created your ad campaign, the last important task is to track your campaign on a regular basis. You should make it a habit to visit and view your campaign reports on a daily basis. These reports are an important source for valuable data. You will get to know which keywords are performing better and where you are losing your money. Combining these reports with analytic sites will help you monitor the health of your ad campaign.

During campaign monitoring you should watch for the keywords which become inactive for search either due to low quality or due to low bid amount. Though you can keep the keyword by increasing the bid amount, it is not recommended. Ideally you should take such keywords out from the campaign and put them in a separate list. Inactive keywords might also indicate that they have been placed in a wrong group and hence have a low quality score. Removing such keywords will also ensure that the overall score of the campaign increases thus reducing the cost per click.

Pay per Click advertising is definitely not a cup of tea for everyone, but if used correctly it is also not less than a gold mine.

Using Traffic Exchanges To Generate Leads

Internet Marketing Articles No Comments »

One of the easiest and most cost effective ways to generate leads to a product or service is to participate in the use of traffic exchanges or TE as they are sometimes referred to. There is however a right and a wrong way to use them. In this article we will discuss the various components required to get the most out of advertising through traffic exchanges.

Before we begin it is necessary to go over a few of the most common components of a traffic exchange that are related to product advertising. There are typically five key components that every ad campaign must have to be successful.

1. Splash Page – A splash page, or sometimes called a landing page, is a short attention grabbing ad page meant to attract the TE surfer to investigate the pages offer in more detail. Generally this page is very low on content containing usually an eyecatching graphic of either the product or a spokesperson displaying the product, a headline, and a link to invite the TE surfer to click for more information.

2. Lead Capture or Squeeze Page – A squeeze page is another short splash page like advertisement for a product or service but offering the TE surfer the opportunity to enter their name and email address to get more information about the product via an email. Often times the splash and squeeze pages are combined in ad campaigns.

3. Free Giveaway Item – This is an item related to the campaign’s product that is offered on the squeeze page to entice the TE surfer to enter their name and email address to get more information via email. This free item is most often a smaller ebook type report or piece of software related to or directly taken from the main advertised product.

4. Autoresponder – An autoresponder is a program or service used to send a series of emails to the email addresses gathered from the lead capture or squeeze page. Most marketers call this a list of subscribers. An autoresponder program or service is essential to the success of an ad campaign.

5. One Time Offer – Often called a OTO, a one time offer is used with the autoresponder to offer the list subscriber a special discount on part of the product’s extra features or even the product itself at a reduced price. Usually this OTO is shown to the list subscriber just once during the list subscribing process.

Now that we know the five key components to an ad campaign lets look at a proper flow for these items in the campaign. Most often new marketers will be advertising a product that they are an affiliate for. Being an affiliate means that they have registered with the product or service owner to try to get sales for a percentage of the sales price when someone buys the product or service.

The biggest mistake that most new marketers make is trying to advertise the main sales page of the product or service on the TE. Doing so will rarely get any sales. The reason being is that each page shown to the TE surfer is only on their screen for a few seconds, usually less than ten seconds.

That is why the use of splash pages are more effective. The TE surfer can quickly scan the splash page in just the few seconds and decide whether they are interested enough in the product to warrant clicking through to the lead capture page.

Once the splash page has captured their attention and they click through to the lead capture page it is up to the squeeze or lead capture page to persuade the TE surfer to request more information. This is where the free giveaway item usually seals the deal in getting the name and email address from the TE surfer.

Provided that the surfer has completed the subscribing process to the list for more information it is now the job of the autoresponder to deliver a series of emails with product information in specific time intervals. Generally the most effective intervals are three days apart with a series of five to seven emails.

So to recap the basics of a successful ad campaign on a traffic exchange the advertiser must:

1) Use a splash page and not the direct product sales page
2) Offer a free item to get the potential customer’s name and email address to their list of subscribers
3) Use an autoresponder to send a series of five to seven emails in three-day intervals to the list subscriber

If you use the above basic strategy with your advertising on a traffic exchange the ad campaigns will be much more successful. Also, as a side note, make sure the splash pages load quickly. Remember there are only about five to ten seconds on the average to get your splash page in front of the TE surfer and every second counts in making that first impression.

Four Ways To Get Links

Search Engine Optimization and SEO No Comments »

Creating links from your site to other sites related to yours is a very important tactic for you to improve your search engine position and increase your site’s visibility. This article gives you four ways to do that as well as how to check your site’s link popularity.

Basically there are two types of links to consider. One type of link is an inbound link, or backlink, which is simply a link from another site pointing to your site. All backlinks are good. It doesn’t matter if the content of the other site is similar or related to yours.

The other type of link involves a reciprocal link which means that your site and the other site have exchanged links which point to the other’s site. Good reciprocal links should be from sites which have similar related content. The search engines may penalize you if you accept links that are not from sites with related content.

Here are four ways to located related sites with which you may want to exchange reciprocal links.

1) USE SEARCH ENGINES:

Do a simple search in any of the major search engines for keywords and terms which relate to your website and its content.

When you have located appropriate sites and reviewed them, send the webmaster an invitation message which you should have already created and saved in a drafts folder.

Your success with this method depends a lot on how you approach the selected websites. If possible, your message should be personalized with the webmaster’s name and the link information to their site which you have already posted on your site.

Of course you will also want to include your linking information for your site for them to post a reciprocal link to your site.

2) LOCATE COMPETITOR’S LINKS:

Discover who your competitors are on line and make some visits to their sites to determine who they are linking to. Review those links on their sites and make contact with them about reciprocal links to your site.

They are more likely to reciprocate with a link to your site since you have related content to them and a site with which they are already linked.

To locate your competition, just do a search on one of the major search engines using the keywords for your site.

3) BUILD RELATIONSHIPS:

Building relationships with other sites which are similar to yours in content can be an effective way to build some good, solid, effective links.

Get acquainted with the webmaster by subscribing to their newsletter and contributing articles to it. Send them ideas, suggestions and comments about their site. Offer testimonials for the products or services they offer. Provide a link on your site to theirs and ask for a reciprocal link. These are just a few ways to become a trusted ally and almost always get a reciprocal link.

While it is not the quickest or most efficient way to get links, it may be the most certain way to end with great, relevant links to other sites.

4) THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE & SERVICES:

There are some very helpful services and software available for locating linking partners. It is not the aim of this article to recommend any of these, but rather point out that it is an option for you to consider.

Alexa offers a free enhanced toolbar which you can add to your browser. It’s most important feature is the ability to estimate how much traffic any given site receives. This can be valuable when determining which sites to approach about reciprocal links.

http://www.alexatoolbar.com/site/download

A search with words like “linking software,” “link tools,” or similar terms will produce a variety of sites for you to examine.

MEASURE YOUR LINK POPULARITY:

Link popularity is the total number and quality of links that point to your site. Search engines are looking just for links to your site that may be useless.

Do you know what sites link to you now? You can find out here:

http://www.AddMe.com/popularity.htm

Knowing who links to your site and increasing the amount of good, quality links is an important part of any website promotion.

In Summary, there is a lot to learn about linking strategies. This article is not meant to be all-inclusive, but instead a starting point for you to build links that are effective and valuable
