This message should talk to the customer and influence his mind. Different colors depict different types of emotions. Messages can be delivered to people suing colors and meaning can be added to it. Red and blue are colors liked by aggressive shoppers where as yellow color can catch good attention of the on lookers. Green reflects health, money and nourishment, so it can be used in food advertisement. There are lots of options available when thinking of what technology to use. The good news is that most of the options are cheap and easy to use. Audios and videos can be added to your website to attract attention. Like when one visits the Pepsi homepage, they are greeted with energetic music, which attracts teenagers instantly. To make a more realistic approach, welcome message, introduction video, interviews, or how the goods are produced, can be added to the website. Hearing a voice can be very touching and a rapport can be immediately developed with the visitor. Like Adidas’ website opens with a video which truly fits their punch line, Impossible is nothing.

Business cards should be outstanding and at its creative best. Professionally designed graphics can be added to a brochure type of card. Information about the company, contact information, quotations, and picture can be added on four sides of it. The fonts should be the same.

Just listing the benefits isn’t enough. Customers want more, they want their needs to be met. Like if some is thinking of buying an exercise equipment, don’t just say that the machine has display, automatic incline, cooling device, CD player, programs, but also add that there is a program with audio instructions which encourages the person to do exercise, which is meant for people who need real motivation to get out of their couch and to start sweating out. So convey exactly why the customer should use the product, be more precise.

Uniqueness is the biggest key factor. Not only should the products and services be unique, the marketing campaign should be unique too. Not only will the effort be appreciated but also the impression will be everlasting. Once faith of customers is gained, they will be like free walking advertisement and will spread the word to their friends and acquaintances like anything.

Blog owners can use this type of advertising but it can be hard to find willing advertisers. However, there are some factors which may make an advertiser more willing to have an advertisement appear on a blog. One of the most important factors for advertisers is the amount of traffic the blog receives. This is important because advertisers who are paying for ad space are more likely to invest in a blog with high traffic than one with very little traffic.

Another important factor for advertisers is the focus of the blog. Advertisers are more likely to purchase advertising space from a blog with a specific focus of interest to the advertiser’s target audience. Like the examples listed previously of magazines for parents and runners, advertisers want to advertise on a blog which is already reaching the same target audience.

Bloggers who utilize advertising on their website may be compensated in a number of different ways. When it comes to writing articles, many of us use brainstorming
to come up with article ideas. As nice as it is to know what to
write about, you also need to know what to write. There are
times when this can be just as difficult as deciding what to
write about. One of the ways to solve this problem is to use an
outline. In fact, an outline is a tool that can help save you
time and even stress.

An outline is defined as a summary of work. That summary is
usually composed of headings and subheadings. These heading and
subheadings are often categorized as individual paragraphs. The
headings and subheadings are used to give you and idea as to
what you should write for each paragraph or at least what each
paragraph should be about. In a way, an outline is like a
written brainstorming session. The only difference is that you
are taking your brainstorming a step further, by building off of
the ideas that you originally came up with.

As it was stated above, an outline will save you time.
Unfortunately, there are many writers who believe that an
outline will actually cost them time; in most cases, this isn’t
true. An outline can take on average five minutes to fifteen
minutes to create, but you need to remember what you are
creating for yourself. Essentially, you are creating a guide to

writing, as you have already come with the ideas needed to write

time. In fact, with a detailed outline, you are less likely to
experience writers block, which could not only cost you time,
but stress as well.

In addition to saving time and stress, outlines often help
writers produce better articles. An outline acts as a guide for
you; therefore, you will find that using an outline results in
more organized articles. In fact, article writers who use
outlines are usually able to create easy to read articles. This
is because when a writer uses an outline, they often find a way
to make their article paragraphs flow together, which is

thesis statement could be “creating your own low-cost gift
baskets,” or so on.

No matter what you are writing about, your
thesis statement should be the first thing that you write down.
It is what you, essentially, will be building off of. Each of
your paragraphs and your outline’s headings and subheadings will
be dependant on your thesis statement, which, as mentioned
before, will be the main focus point of your article.

The decision as it if you want to use an outline or not is yours
to make; however, you are advised to keep the above mentioned
points in mind. Whether you find yourself struggling to find
something to write or if you are unorganized, an outline may be
the solution to your problems.

What are trackbacks? The Truth About Trackbacks.

If you’re a blogger, chances are you’ve heard of trackbacks.
Most likely, you probably don’t know what these are and what
they have to do with your blog. That’s alright, as most people
don’t quite understand how trackbacks work and why they are
useful for a blog. In this newsletter, we’re going to go over
trackbacks—what they are, how they work, why they are important
to blog traffic, and how to get more trackbacks. After you’ve
read this, you’ll know practically everything there is to know
about trackbacks.

What are trackbacks?

The concept of trackbacks is a bit hard to explain. So we’ll use
an example to explain it in the best way possible.

OK, say you see a great blog post on another person’s blog and
want to link to it on your blog. You could do this the
old-fashioned way by manually putting a link on your site to
that blog. However, if you do it this way, the person whose blog
post you are linking to won’t know that you are linking to them
unless you tell them.

This is where trackbacks come in. A trackback is a program which
will notify the owner of a blog when one of their posts has been
linked to at another blog.

How do they work?

A blog that has a trackback system set up will have a link at
the bottom of every blog post. This link will say something like
“Blog This!” Anyone who clicks the link can then put a link to
that blog post on their site. The person who posted the original
blog will then be notified via email that their blog posting has
been linked to. Additionally, the link that was clicked(”Blog
This!”) will change to “Trackbacks”. From that point forward,
the “Trackbacks” link will keep track of how many people have
chosen to blog about that particular post. So after the first
trackback, it will say “Trackbacks: 1″. The number of trackbacks
recorded will be updated as they occur.

Why are trackbacks important to blog traffic?

The easy answer is that trackbacks are important because they
increase awareness of your blog. Trackbacks also make a blog
seem more credible. After all, people have to think your posts
are good enough to be trackbacked.

Anytime a person makes a trackback on your blog, they make a
post on their own blog about your blog. This, in turn, lets
their readers know about your blog. Chances are, their readers
will want to visit your blog to see what the big deal is. If
they see something on your blog that they like, they’ll keep
coming back for more, which means you’ll have a whole new
fanbase of readers. That means more traffic for your blog.

Can you imagine what would happen if 5 different bloggers
trackbacked a post on your blog? Depending on how popular their
blog is, that’s potentially as much as hundreds of new readers
for your blog! Pretty incredible, right?

Also, every trackback made, assuming it is a legitimate one(and
some trackbacks are spam, especially if they are there only to
link to another site) adds credibility to your blog. Blogs with
high amounts of trackbacks look credible because lots of people
like the posts enough to trackback them.

How can I increase the number of trackbacks I get?

The easiest and best way to increase trackbacks is to frequently
post. If you post frequently (2-3 times a week), people will
have quite a few posts that they can trackback. However, it is
important to make sure that your posts are of a good quality.
Quality blog posts are those that people can relate to and are
easy to read. If you post a long boring rant, people probably
won’t want to trackback that. But if you post a decent sized
rant that is entertaining (and that people are likely to agree
with), you’ll get trackbacked.

The number of trackbacks you get is totally dependent on the
number of visitors your blog receives and how frequently you are
able to make quality posts. If you’ve got a good amount of
visitors and write good blog posts, you’ll get trackbacks.

Trackbacks are a wonderful thing for every blog. You are
able to know when your blog posting has been posted about at
another blog, plus you potentially gain more visitors. It’s a
win-win situation for you!

If you run a site and are looking to get it listed quickly on
search engines, there really is no easier and quicker way than
to also put a blog on the site. It is a known fact that search
engine spiders from sites like Google and Altavista list new
blogs much faster than they list new sites. However, it’s not as
simple as just creating a blog and letting it sit there.

You have to also use tactics like pinging, linking and the use of
keywords. We’ll go over each so that you are able to effectively
use your blog for a quick site listing. We’ll also briefly go
over how to host your own blog on your site.

So how do I host my own blog, anyway?

The easiest way to do this is to install and run a blogging
software from another company on your web site’s server. One
such software that is popular is WordPress. It’s fairly easy to
install and works pretty good on your site. Other blogging

Where should I put my blog on my site?

Most people who host their blog to help their site get listed
quickly don’t put the blog on the main page of the site, because
the site isn’t all about the blog. Instead they put it in its
own folder at mysite.com/blog/. But you can really put your blog
anywhere on your site, so it’s your call.

What is pinging?

It’s a question that many ask, so don’t feel silly if you don’t
know what pinging is. Pinging is essentially a tracking program
installed on your blog that will notify the site which it is
from whenever your blog is updated. Search engine spiders
usually visit newly pinged sites most often, which is why
pinging is such a crucial part of the equation to get your site
listed quickly. Sites that are newly “pinged” will be visited by
search engine spiders. A visit from the spider equals a listing
on the search engine.

How do I get pinging on my blog?

You’ll have to register with a site that offers weblog pinging.
The most popular pinging program around is weblogs.com. Other
programs offered include Yahoo’s Blo.gs, BlogRolling, and
Technorati. Once you’ve decided on a pinging service, you’ll
have to follow the instructions to install it on your blog. When
you’ve done that, your blog will start getting pinged and
visited by search engine spiders.

What is linking?

Linking is basically having another blog or site link to your
blog. When search engine spiders visit that site and see a link
to your site, they’ll visit your site. Linking is effective both
for sites with blogs and those without it.

How do I get linking?

You get it by visiting sites/blogs that are relevant to what
your site is about. Then you contact the owners of those
sites/blogs, asking them to post a link to your site on their
site. In return, you will probably have to link to their site on
your site. That way, both of you are able to benefit from the
linking.

Why is the use of keywords important to my blog?

Spiders love to visit sites with a good amount of keywords.
People who read your site won’t mind the use of keywords if they
are lightly spread throughout the content of your pages. The key
to this is to make a list of keywords relevant to your blog
posting and then to try to use those keywords throughout your
content.

It is important to make sure, however, not to overuse
keywords. Spiders have been trained to ignore sites with
excessive amounts of keywords, so if you use a whole lot of
keywords in the hopes of getting spiders to visit your site,
it’s not going to do you any good. Generally speaking, using
between 2-6 keywords per 200 word piece of content is a good
ratio. It’s pleasing to both readers and search engine spiders.

That’s really all there is to it. Apply the above techniques to
your blog and you will net your site a quick search engine
listing.

Keywords or phrases are tools used in internet marketing to
achieve better rankings in search engines. At a certain point in
time, webmasters abused this system by saturating the content of
their websites with keywords to be able to achieve a high
ranking. However, this resulted in search engine users getting
results that had no relevance whatsoever to their query.

To combat this abuse, search engine webmasters developed algorithms
to decipher which websites have relevant content and which
websites did not. Now, the whole focus for keyword utilization
has shifted to content rich articles with a keyword ratio
average of about 12% of the whole article.

The whole reason for this shift in keyword utilization stems
from the fact that search engine sites track and record the
abuse of keywords. If you happen to have an article of 500 words
containing nothing but the word ôpornö, chances are your site
will be banned from the search engine.

This shift has also created a whole new industry in writing.
You will definitely be able to get a few odd jobs writing search
engine optimized (SEO) articles.

The key to writing good SEO articles is to be true to the
subject at hand. Make sure that your SEO article contains
relevant information and a substantial proportion of keyword
scattered throughout the article. Include a keyword or phrase in
the title of your article. Include a minimum of 2 keywords or
phrases in the beginning and ending paragraphs of your article.
Finally, scatter keywords in the body of your article. If you
have a 500 word article, a minimum of 1 keyword or phrase per
paragraph in the text body is recommended.

Write your article for your product, not for the sake of
keywords. As you go on with your article, you will be using your
keywords when you describe your product and when you give out
instructions on how to use the product. Write about how the
product came into existence and how it has developed through the
years. Cite instances where the product has been particularly
useful to you or to an acquaintance.

When writing the article, do not force the keyword issue. Your
articles must be forthright, literate, easy and entertaining to
read. Some writers sacrifice grammar for the sake of a keyword
placement. DonÆt do that. When searchers are directed to an
article of yours and it happens to contain spelling errors,
wrong grammar and a generally sloppy composition, they might
decide to look for another article or website that contains more
nicely written content.

If you are unable to compose your own article because of time
constraints, you can use freelance websites to hire article
