Video as an advertising tool

When you go to internet websites that activate pop-up screens in
your browser, what you usually see are text and picture
combinations that you usually ignore and close immediately
because they are bothersome and not really interesting. You do
pause and look at the pop-up screen if it contains some animated
pictures or flashing images.

When you pass by a store that sells
television sets while walking, you look at the screens that have
something playing or displayed in them. Between these
comparisons, you will find the difference between still and
animated images in terms of grabbing a person’s attention.

A still picture will remain a still picture no matter how long
and which way you stare at it. An animated picture or video, on
the other hand, will grab your attention by arousing your
curiosity. Usually, it’s because you want to find out what
happens next. It’s all about arousing curiosity.

The internet as it is today allows for streaming video
technology that will let you view a whole movie online if you
want to. In being able to use this technology to grab a person’s
attention, advertisers are getting more and more creative with
their strategies. I will look at a moving image because I want
to know what it is and what will happen to it. Advertisers know
that I will do this and so will the majority of other people
browsing the internet.

Even so, unless the individual viewing the animation or video is
interested in the advertised product at that time, advertisers
will fail to convince a person to spend money. Of course, this
is beside the point. The immediate goal of an advertiser is to
grab attention.

Sometime in the future, the individual will
remember seeing the advertisement and will most likely make a
purchase because of that simple memory. The memory of it is
carried subconsciously and will resurface at a time when you
need the product or see the product as you pass by it in the
shelves of your favorite grocery store.

To compare to other forms of videos that grab attention, early
infants and older children are fascinated by learning modules in
video form. A story book with still pictures is just not enough
to grab a child’s hyperactive mind. Again, video grabs attention
by acting on the curiosity of the viewer.

Curiosity is perhaps the most powerful motivator in a person.
For example, the “Stargate SG1” television series shown by the
Sci-Fi channel in the US is not available for viewing in some
countries. Video grabs a person’s curiosity faster than you can
blink (that’s because you won’t be blinking).

Animated pictures and videos are very powerful advertising
tools. If an advertising video upon its creation is imbued with
humor, a bit of suspense and, finally, relevance to the general
public, its effects will be visibly seen in the black ink
accountants’ use in their books to indicate income.

Please remember that when you want to sell an idea or
product, the best way to grab a person’s attention is by
arousing his curiosity through the use of videos. Video is the
fastest and most efficient tool when it comes to getting your
message across. Human beings are very curious animals and they
love good stories.

MLM and More Blogging For Business Tips

You’ve decided to “go for it” and create a blog about your MLM marketing business. You’re well on your way to becoming a blogger of some expertise, but are running out of ideas to make it fresh and appealing. Here’s a few things you can do to spice things up.

You can add extra facts not found in an article, show your own expertise in the area or invite others to submit their observations. No matter what way you choose to do it, you win! Remember, with a blog you need to get to the point fast as there isn’t lots of room to write a novel. Best you don’t do the essay route either as these days people don’t have enough time to be reading lengthy articles on the Net. What you’re really doing for them is pre-screening or filtering sites that would be of interest, quality sites, because you’ve already checked them out. This brings us to another point, having an audience vs. a public. An audience is passive. A public participates, which is what you want with your blog because ultimately, you want leads.

Another angle you can explore with your blog is how you want to write it. It can be a mixture of links, commentary and personal notes, or a record of your own thoughts (a quick reflection on something you observed or tried at work) Whichever style you choose, remember to make it distinctive to you, written in your own voice, letting your personality come to the fore. This makes sense, because one of the principle tenets of relationship marketing is getting to know your prospects, and letting them get to know you.

The kinds of blogs you’d likely be the most interested in would be the:

Private blogs - usually the most popular
    Business blogs - for businesses
Corporate blogs - used internally for a business (marketing, branding, PR)

How to write a winning sales letter?

Internet Marketing Articles No Comments »
    AddThis Social Bookmark Button

Writing a sales letter is tough and writing a winning sales letter is even tougher. Many sales managers break their heads thinking why they can’t get it right. Well, to answer this question they should put them in people’s shoes and ask what “benefit “would I get by reading this sales letter? Remember that word “benefit” which is the crux of this discussion. Many sales people take bits and pieces of information from here and there and create mess out of a sales letter. They literally throw everything on people and then get what they deserve, instant rejection.

One should always remember that a sales letter works only when you have a product to sell and an offer to make. A sales letter should not be an introduction of your product or company. Remember every word is important in the sales letter and do not waste a single one which would distract your potential customer’s attention. They are not interested in the features of you product but an offer or a benefit to them. Think from the customer’s point of view and ask yourselves why should I read the letter? Is there any benefit or offer to me which cannot be refused? Can you convince me that it is really a good offer?

After keeping in mind these things, sales managers should apply thought in presenting their letter. The header or the headline is very crucial to any sales letter. It should target directly to the customers of your product. One also needs to be little tactful in use of words. But if you are not good at the trade do not attempt to do it and rather be simple in writing it. The headline should not be more a line, so try to be as specific as possible but with maximum affect. Nobody has time to read each and every letter in this fast paced era of instant satisfaction. If you are not able to convey your message to the audience in stipulated time, then you have lost those customers. The headline should start with a benefit being offered to the customer. This ensures that the customer goes to the body of the letter at least.

Now, having made a good effort with the heading, it’s the time to work on the body of the letter. How to maintain the level of enthusiasm that you created in the customer’s mind with the heading? Once again it is important to remember to not to focus on features of the product you are trying to sell but on the benefits and offers you are making to them. Things like how much money it is going to save them and how it would affect their lives should be mentioned in the body of the letter. Make them realize a need for it and compare it competitor’s product. Remember, a person reading your sales letter will constantly get questions in mind as to how this will benefit me, after each and every sentence. So be ready to clear those doubts and answer the questions. Being little informal in the approach wouldn’t do a harm and try to grab the attention by relating things to real life things. You can add a little bit of humor but unless you are sure that it won’t be in the bad taste of the reader. Bring in few previous clients to give testimony of your products. But keep the testimonials believable and something that people can relate to.

Once you’ve made clear about the product, do not forget to prompt your audience to take action. If it is an email, prompt your reader to click on a link to act now or provide a contact number if it is a direct mail. Also remind them again that if you don’t act now you will forfeit the offer as the offer is for limited time only.

Once you are done with the letter, one of the important parts of the sales letter is

Many people simply read the beginning and end of the letter. So, try to convey something that will prompt them to go back to the letter and read it. It will be a perfect end to the sales letter.

    Blogging with Wordpress

    Blogging No Comments »
    AddThis Social Bookmark Button

Wordpress is one of the many options available to bloggers who are looking for free software online which makes it incredibly easy to publish their own blog. This software is easy to use, provides a variety of templates and offer excellent support to bloggers. There are many options available to bloggers and other blogging programs may be better known and offer slightly different features but many bloggers are quite pleased with Wordpress. This article will offer some useful information for bloggers who are considering starting a blog with Wordpress such as reasons to choose Wordpress, tips on starting a blog and information about the support offered by Wordpress. Based on this information as well as their own research bloggers can decide whether Wordpress is right for them or whether they should seek out a different blog network.

    Reasons to Choose Wordpress

There are many great reasons to choose Wordpress to start a blog. Some of these reasons include a great variety of templates, the ability to categorize and tag posts easily, features such as spell check, previews and autosave, the ability to post text, audio files and video files, a variety of privacy options and the ability to track statistical data related to the blog in addition to other great features. Some of these features may be more important to some bloggers than others so deciding whether or not Wordpress is right for you will largely be a matter of personal preference. For example bloggers with little or no programming experience may enjoy the myriad of templates available on Wordpress while bloggers who are concerned about privacy issues may be more interested in the privacy options available through Wordpress. Carefully investigating these features will help bloggers determine if they should start a blog with Wordpress.

    Starting a Blog with Wordpress

Bloggers who opt to start a blog with Wordpress will certainly not be disappointed by the amount of time it takes to start a blog. A blogger can literally start a blog with Wordpress within minutes. This is tremendously important to bloggers who are eager to get started and do not want to deal with a long process to start a blog. The only requirements for starting a blog are a valid email address and a username. The blogger enters this information into the signup page and receives a password almost instantly. Next the blogger simply has to check his email, follow the activation link provided and use the password provided and the process is complete. The blogger can start blogging immediately.

    Support Offered by Wordpress

For many first time bloggers the type of support offered is very important. This is because first time bloggers may have quite a few questions about the process of starting a basic blog and once they establish a basic blog they may have additional questions about using advanced features and customizing the blog. Wordpress offers a great deal of support for bloggers of all skill levels. The support offered by Wordpress includes the ability to contact the support staff as well as the ability to receive support from other members through online forums. Although the support staff is incredibly responsive some bloggers enjoy the ability to communicate with other bloggers in forums. This is because the forums are active 24 hours a day and bloggers can find support from peers at any time.

    Chosing your keywords

Search Engine Optimization and SEO 1 Comment »
    AddThis Social Bookmark Button

These days, our needs for knowledge, information, everyday
necessities and novelty materials can be found just with one
single click on an internet website. It’s no surprise that
people prefer to surf the WWW rather than go to a library or
shopping center to look for or buy what they want. More and more
people use search engines like google to help them go directly
to the website that contains what they need.

This trend sparked a revolution in internet marketing
strategies. Web masters of vendor sites compete with each other
to place their websites in the top 10 search results of a user’s
searches. Various software utilities were created to boost the
chances of high SE rankings. Some of these utilities even
manage to cheat a high ranking out of a search engine even when
the website itself contains nothing of interest to the user.

As more and more web masters arm themselves with rank boosting
software, the effectiveness of their efforts begins to plummet so
much so that they find themselves back to where they started. A
new avenue for increasing their rankings became necessary.
One of these ideas is the saturation of keywords on a single
article. The entire philosophy of keywords hinged on their
relevance. In searching for a Ford truck, what search strings
would the customer use? How many of those search strings will
match the keywords? The more a search string matches your site
or article’s keywords, the higher you place on a search engine
result page. Keywords have gotten to be such a major concern
that private enterprises which offer search engine optimization
(SEO) services are now making a killing in the internet economy.

The first result that comes out of a search engine is usually
the website that contains the most similar number of keywords in
the exact same order as the search. For instance, if I used “DIY
Wi-Fi antenna” for my search string, the search engine will look
for the exact same words and word placement. Now, if I type the
word “ask” and perform my search using google, the common result
would be ask.com. Notice how the search engine immediately went
for the website with the domain name (ask.com) that matched my
query. On the other hand, if I type “asked”, google still comes
out with the ask.com webpage as its top search result. It’s all
    about relevance.

To be able to fully utilize your website’s potential as a top
search result item, you need to orient your website towards the
product or idea you want to promote. If you cannot have the .com
name, you can rely on keyword optimization to help you with your
    search engine rankings.

You do not need to consult a private enterprise to tell you
which keywords to use. All you have to do is think about your
product or idea and think of how you would look for it in the
    internet using a search engine.

Keywords will not work for you if you keep them generic. Most
customers log onto the internet already knowing what they need
or want. Remember, these shoppers can’t hold or examine the
merchandise so they want to find out about them fist hand before
they actually buy. When they do decide to buy, they have a
specific idea in mind. They will use this idea as their search
string in search engines. Ergo, if you have multiple products,
you need to be able to generate a fair amount of literature
containing relevant keywords for each of your merchandise. If
you choose to limit your business to a certain area, be sure to
include the name of your chosen location into your keyword base.

You also need to take care of the literature or articles
you produce for your business. Make sure that they contain the
necessary keyword count. Do not sacrifice the quality of your
articles for the sake of keywords. Always present a detailed,
    literate and informative article.

How to Find People to Promote Your Ebook?

Internet Marketing Articles No Comments »
    AddThis Social Bookmark Button

Have you recently created an e-book? If so, do you plan on
selling that e-book? If you are interested in profiting from
your latest creation, you can do so, but you may need a little
bit of assistance. To make money, you need to rely on internet
sales. The only problem is that to have internet sales, your
product needs to be seen and known about. Unfortunately, there
are many e-book authors who believe that this is too hard of a
task. While it may be difficult at times, there are a number of
easy ways that you can go about having your e-book successfully
    promoted.

Before examining how you can promote your e-book, it is first
important to touch on the ever so popular question, ôwhy?ö When
selling a product, including an e-book, this is a question that
shouldnÆt even be asked, but it still is. Promotion is
important when it comes to selling an e-book or even any other
product for that matter. If you do not advertise or promote
your product, consumers will not even know that it exists.
Something canÆt be purchased if no one knows that it is
available for sale. Promotion is also important because, if
properly implemented, it gets people talking; it creates a
    ôbuzz.ö

One of the easiest ways that you can go about finding people to
help you promote your e-book is by using the internet. After
all, that is where your e-book will be sold. One of the
approaches that you can take is by visiting online message
boards or forums. There are a large number of internet users who
are also looking for help, when it comes to selling a product or
a service. You could do a link exchange. A link exchange is
when two individuals agree to help each other promote their
products. For obvious reasons though, you will want to make
sure that you do not help to promote a product that could be
    considered your competition.

Speaking of online message boards and forums, you can do your
own promoting when searching for someone to help you. A large
number of message boards and forums allow members to create a
signature. Many posters use a signature to display their
favorite quotes or song lyrics, but most use it to promote their
business or products; you can also do the same. For instance,
if you are selling an e-book on pet care, you can have a catchy
signature line and a link to your e-book sales pages. This
concept works great, especially if you are on a forum that is
related to the topic of your e-book, like a pet loverÆs forum.
You may also be able to find other posters who are willing to
promote your e-book in their signature lines too.

In conjunction with using online message boards or forums to
find people who are willing to promote your product, you can
also use standard internet searches. You will want to search
for websites that are, in one way or another, related to the
content of your website. A large number of webmaster may do a
link exchange, but others may want you to pay a small amount of
money for an advertising slot. Even if you must pay for
advertising, it will likely be worth it, especially if you find
    a popular, high traffic website.

As an act of kindness, you may want to provide other internet
users with incentives for helping you promote your e-book,
especially if you are looking to have this help without paying
for it. A popular incentive, as mentioned above, is a link
exchange. In addition to a link exchange, you may even want to
give your promotional assistants a free copy of your e-book. In
fact, you may even be asked for a free copy. This is actually
quite common as many individuals want to know exactly what they
    are helping to promote.

Promoting your e-book is the best way to profit from it.
With a little bit of research and hard work, you should be able
to find a large number of individuals who would be willing to
help you, many free of charge.

Making eCourses with Articles - eCourse secrets..

Internet Marketing Articles No Comments »
    AddThis Social Bookmark Button

In today’s society, the internet is no longer just used for
shopping or entertainment; it is also used for learning. Over
the past few years, online eCourses have rapidly increased in
popularity. What does this mean for you? This means that if are
an article writer, you can easily build off of this popularity.
You can do this by making eCourses with your articles.

Before examining how you can go about making eCourses with
articles, it is best to quickly familiarize yourself with
eCourses, namely what they are. Just as they sound, eCourses
are courses that are offered online. These courses, which are
often hosted over the internet, enable internet users to get an
education or familiarize themselves with something new, often
right from the comfort of their own homes. Although eCourses
have similar goals, to educate internet users, those goals are
accomplished in different ways. There are some individuals who
are considered experts in their field, such as the field from
working from home. Many experts create eCourses and distribute
them online for other internet users to benefit from. eCourses
are also offered by many colleges and universities as a way to
    get an education from home.

Now that you know exactly what eCourses are, you can better
understand how you make an eCourse. If you have never taken or
viewed and eCourse before, you may not realize that they are
just collections of information, just like articles. In fact,
that is why making your own eCourse may be a lot easier that you
had originally anticipated. The way that you can create your
own eCourse can vary, but many article writers just take a
collection of articles and combine them together. Of course,
will want to combine them in a way in which they are easy to
read, helpful, and connected. For instance, if you are
interested in making an eCourse that focuses on working from
home, you will first want to explain what working from home is
before outlining various work at home opportunities, and so
    forth.

Once you have successfully created an eCourse, your next step
will all depend on your goals. For instance, is your goal to
make money with your eCourse or is your goal to generate traffic
for your website? If your goal is to generate traffic for your
website, you may want to think about offering your eCourse
materials free of charge. Many webmaster paste their eCourse
materials on their website, for easy viewing, but others use it
as email content. If you use your eCourse material as email
content, you are essentially creating and distributing a
newsletter. Newsletters are another one of the many highly
rated and recommend internet marketing tactics that webmasters
    use.

If you are not a webmaster, just a professional article writer,
you may be interested in using your eCourse to generate sales.
If so, there are a couple of different approaches that you can
take. For the fastest results, you may want to consider selling
your eCourse to an individual or company who can effectively
promote it. This will, in turn, generate income for both
parties involved. If do have the time to market and promote
your own eCourse, you may want to examine selling it on your
own. As it was previously mentioned, a large number of
webmasters offer similar eCourses free of charge. Despite this
free competition, you may still be able to make a substantial
profit from selling your eCourse material, even if you make it
    available for a low price.

Whichever way you decide to use your material, you are still
advised to make an eCourse with your articles. After all, what
else would you do with your articles? Making an eCourse is a
great way to put your old, unused articles to good use.

When transforming your articles into an eCourse, you can
distribute your articles if you want for free or you can sell
them and make yourself a little bit of extra cash.

Make sure adsense results are targeted

    Adsense 1 Comment »
    AddThis Social Bookmark Button

Adsense is a great way to generate income for your website if
you are willing to put up advertisements for other companies.
Adsense is also a great way for a business to advertise at a low
cost and generate more traffic to their site. Regardless of
which side of the fence you sit on, it is important that Adsense
results are targeted. I will discuss how this benefits both the
advertiser and the business that is doing the advertising.

Let’s say you have a business and you are allowing
advertisements for other businesses to be posted there through
Adsense. The only way you make any money is if the advertisement
is targeted towards something the consumers viewing your website
are interested in. It only makes sense for the ads to be in the
same ballpark as what you offer but not an ad that directly
competes with what you are offering.

On the advertisers end, Adsense is a great way to get more
traffic to their website. They also only pay for each click that
links back to there website from the ones where the ads are
posted. Behind the scenes, a lot of hard work and time are
investing in advertising. What good does it do if no one looks
at the ads? There would be no logic to advertising sports cars
on a website that is for children or advertising chocolate on a
website for diabetic supplies unless the candy is for diabetics,
then we have something to work with!

Adsense from Google has a great system they work with. The more
information a business gives them when they sign up either to
advertise or to host advertisements, the better the target will
be met. Google Adsense works hard to match advertisements with
what the various websites are offering as well as the target age
group. Their data is also based on what the consumers out there
are looking for. They are very aware of consumer trends. The
goal is to get advertisements of the websites that appear
natural to the consumer. It is also out of respect. Who wants to
go online for a pair of running shoes and see ads for adult
    products and websites?

Keywords are very important when it comes to Adsense. This helps
the system match up advertisers and advertisement hosts by
comparing the keywords. The more keywords you enter when you
complete your application at Adwords, the more matches will be
provided. Content on your website is important for getting
advertisements to host on your website. In fact, the more
content you have the more advertisements will come your way.
This is because the robots of the Adsense program at Google will
pick up on this additional content. You can also place more
keywords if you have more content.

Section targeting is also a great way to get the results you are
looking for. This method allows you to suggest particular
portions of your text that is part of your website to Google.
You can request that they generate advertisements for your
website to host based on that material and content. Section
targeting is very simple to implement as it only involves adding
certain html comments to the html code of your website. You also
have the ability to ask Google and the Adsense program to ignore
particular portions of material and content on your website that
you do not want to offer advertisements for.

Adsense can work very well for you as an inexpensive way to get
more advertising for your business. This is done by paying other
websites to host your advertisements. You will pay them a set
amount each time a consumer clicks the ad from their website
linking to yours. As an advertisement host, Adsense is a great
opportunity to make money. The key for both parties to benefit
the most is by targeting the results. This includes using
keywords and coding to get particular ads and to prevent
advertising for something you don’t want on your website.

How to make your own online video training site?

Internet Marketing Articles 1 Comment »
    AddThis Social Bookmark Button

It isn’t really as hard as it sounds. Let’s get rid of all
those things that are hard to do. If you don’t know how to
design and construct a website from scratch, you can use desktop
publishing software that makes it easier to construct a website.
Another option is to have your website designed by a
professional. Professional website designers have a more mature
outlook in designing websites. Furthermore, you are given
guarantees that the website they constructed for you will not
    suddenly collapse or malfunction.

Now, the first thing to do is to determine what kind of
instruction you will give in your website. Pattern your website
after your topic of instruction so that you have a themed look
to your website. If you are a mechanic, try having some pictures
of tools or maybe a tire included on the site as part of the
background wallpaper or in the video instruction section of the
website. Next, you will need those instructional videos for your
viewing public. Begin by writing a script for your instructional
spiel. Divide your script with respect to the stages or levels
of your instruction topic. Determine the price you will charge
for your educational video service. Once you are done, you can
embed the video into your website and see the final product.

If you are satisfied with what you’ve done so far, you can look
for a website hosting service provider. Mind you, some website
hosting providers will design the site for you for a fee if you
so wish it. Aside from website hosting fees, you will have to
pay for domain name fees as well as other charges that the
website hosting company deems fair to charge you. Also, you need
to be specific about the bandwidth that your hosting provider
will give you. This is to ensure that your video streams will
not slow down due to heavy user traffic.

Now that you are ready to start selling, you need to have a
place where you can deposit your online cash. You will have to
open a merchant account in a bank and have the bank and the
hosting provider configure your website so that the payments you
receive are forwarded to your merchant account.

Don’t be nervous. This will probably be a little heavy on the
pocket but it will not cost as much as investments in stocks and
bonds. Moreover, if your business does not earn you anything,
you can stop and cut your losses or research and apply some
    advertising strategies.

Finally, don’t think of this venture as a pioneering enterprise.
Internet video streaming for purposes of formal education and
instruction has been in use for a number of years now. Even so,
most instructional websites that have gardening tutorials,
computer troubleshooting tutorials and a whole score of other
tutorials do not have video streaming instruction in their web
pages. Video streaming as a method for education and instruction
is less than 10 years old.

The advantage of using video streaming is that it gives you the
ability to convey your instruction without difficulty since
people see you doing the action as you speak the words to
demonstrate it. It certainly is better than reading or composing
a manual. If you go for the write a manual method, you will need
a pretty good writer who can translate technical details into
more human terms. The writer will also need to be able to aptly
describe necessary movements and motions for the student to
    understand the instruction.

It certainly is better to listen and watch somebody fixing a
wall fan while watching him than holding a book in one hand and
a screwdriver on the other. If you put yourself in place of the
student, you will be able to imagine how easy it will be to
learn from watching a person perform a lesson instead of reading
    about it.

People keep saying that our future lies in our children. To
get to the future, we need to educate our children first. What
better way to teach than to have instructional videos ready for
them to learn from and enjoy.

Private label rights (PLR)marketing might be just the perfect solution for you for your MLM needs. You need fresh, new articles on a weekly basis, content to update your site, and PLR is a good way to add relevant, creative, search engine friendly content to your MLM website. It’s pretty difficult to research and write the number of articles you’d need and still run an MLM business.

Just what are PLR? Among other things, PLR articles are a fairly new creature to the Net. In short form, PLR articles allow you to make another author’s work yours by changing its content. That could vary from writing an introduction paragraph or editing the title, to completely modifying it any way you want and adding your name as its creator. It really doesn’t matter what approach you take to re-working your PLR article, it’s a lot easier to work with an existing article than it is to start a brand new one from scratch.

Why would you want to tweak your PLR articles? You would for the simple reason that most of them will not have been written with any particular keyword in mind, so it’s up to you to fix it so the search engines will find them. And that’s a good thing, as it means your articles will be unique. You will also want to change their tone, and add your own personality to them. Remember that the more original your article is, the better long term results you’ll have for your MLM site and business.

Just one last bit of information you will need to know about using PLR articles - you definitely do need to change them after you have bought them. This is to avoid duplicate content and the search engine filters that are now starting to gang up on duplicate content offenders. Better to be safe than sorry and find your site zapped or banned.
