I have seen lots of people try affiliate marketing and give up too soon. They leave before they have really had the chance of making it work. There are plenty of examples where the leading affiliates in a market are leaders because they stuck around longer and were more persistant than the others. Its a long term business and you have to be prepared to stick it out to win.
